MVP and Matchroom Boxing announced a strategic alliance focused on creating bigger fights and expanding opportunities for female champions.

Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn have put aside years of public disagreements after MVP and Matchroom Boxing unveiled a strategic partnership centered on women’s boxing. The alliance aims to deliver more high-profile fights, although both companies have yet to reveal which fighters or events will be involved.

The announcement continues a working relationship that began through the Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano events. Both sides described the project as the beginning of “a new era” for women’s boxing.

“BREAKING: A new era for women’s boxing. MVP and Matchroom Boxing have formed a strategic alliance to create more opportunities, bigger fights, and an even brighter future for the sport. Stay tuned…,” MVP announced on social media.

No schedule or roster additions accompanied the news. Instead, the statement served as confirmation that two influential promotional groups intend to cooperate more closely as interest in female championship boxing continues to increase across television and live events.

Hearn spent years questioning Paul’s place in professional boxing. Paul often challenged the business practices of established promoters. Their first collaboration on Taylor-Serrano cards demonstrated they were willing to set those differences aside when mutual interests aligned.

Matchroom brings decades of experience promoting many of the sport’s top champions. MVP established itself by making women’s boxing a central part of its business from the beginning.

Further details have not been released, leaving unanswered which fighters or events will fall under the new arrangement. The announcement leaves plenty of questions unanswered, but it also shows both companies intend to keep working together on women’s boxing.
