Unbeaten super middleweight contender says he beats all three rivals and predicts a stoppage win over Hamzah Sheeraz

Diego Pacheco has called out Canelo Alvarez, Hamzah Sheeraz and Jaime Munguia while predicting victories over all three. The unbeaten contender said he would stop Sheeraz and outpoint both Canelo and Munguia as he continues pushing toward a world title shot.

Pacheco, who returns on July 18 against Immanuwel Aleem in Carson, California, was asked which opponents he wants most. His answer included WBA champion Jaime Munguia, WBO titleholder Hamzah Sheeraz, and Canelo.

“[Jaime] Munguia, [Hamzah] Sheeraz and Canelo, [that is who I want],” Pacheco said to ESNEWS. “I think that me and Munguia go the distance, I stop Hamzah Sheeraz and me, and Canelo go the distance, as well, but I win all three, for sure.”

Those are ambitious predictions from the 25-year-old Californian, who has built a perfect 25-0 record while gradually moving toward the championship level of the division.

Pacheco’s comments come as Canelo prepares for one of the biggest fights of his career. On September 12 in Riyadh, the Mexican star will challenge WBC super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli. A victory would place him back on top of the division and immediately create new challengers eager to cash in on the opportunity.

Pacheco was previously in line to fight for the vacant WBO title before withdrawing from the purse-bid process earlier this year. That opened the door for Sheeraz to capture the belt against Alem Begic.

First, however, Pacheco must take care of business against Aleem. If he remains unbeaten, his campaign for fights against Munguia, Sheeraz, and Canelo will become much harder to ignore.
