After dismissing an alleged 70-30 split, Bill Haney says Team Haney is prepared to offer Gervonta Davis a 55-45 deal with guaranteed purses for both fighters

Bill Haney has publicly responded to the reported financial terms for a Devin Haney-Gervonta Davis fight, rejecting the alleged 70-30 split and issuing a counteroffer of his own. Team Haney says it is prepared to guarantee both fighters $15 million while offering Davis a 55-45 revenue split.

“We already turned down 50/50 of nothing with PBC. 70/30 of nothing is even worse,” said Bill on X.

Bill then laid out the terms he says Team Haney is prepared to accept.

“DHP [Devin Haney Promotions] guarantees Tank 55/45 with a $15 million guaranteed purse for both fighters. Match it or stay off my jack.”

Earlier Friday, Devin Haney claimed Gervonta Davis’ team had contacted him through Al Haymon with a 70-30 proposal before posting: “Ima move past u… I don’t wanna do no business with u.” Haney later deleted those posts.

The exchange began after Davis associate Gmoney wrote that he had just gotten off the phone with Haymon and urged Haney to respond quickly before Davis “go somewhere else.” Gmoney later accused Haney of avoiding the fight, while Haney insisted he would not accept what he portrayed as a one-sided financial offer.

Bill Haney’s response shifts the discussion from social media insults to specific business terms. Team Haney has now publicly issued a counteroffer, proposing a 55-45 split with a guaranteed $15 million purse for both fighters.

No formal agreement has been announced, leaving the status of negotiations between the two camps unresolved.
