Once-beaten Jamal James (21-1, 9 KOs) scored a unanimous decision victory over former title challenger Jo Jo Dan (36-5, 19 KOs) in Premier Boxing Champions on FS1 and FOX Deportes action Saturday night from the newly-renovated NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Standing 6’2″, James was intent on using his length to move around Dan and deliver jabs and power punches off of it it. He had success snapping the head back of Dan throughout the early rounds and built up a lead on the scorecards.

The second televised bout on FS1 and FOX Deportes featured Mexico’s Sergio Frias (18-6-2, 9 KOs) knocking out former world champion Vic Darchinyan (42-9-1, 31 KOs) in the second round (2:45) of their junior featherweight bout.

In front of a packed house at Club Nokia at L.A. LIVE on Tuesday night in downtown Los Angeles, Premier Boxing Champions kicked off nPBC On FOX Fight Week In Los Angeles with an exciting fight card on TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and BOXEO DE CAMPEONES on FOX Deportes.

Headlining the card, undefeated welterweight Jamal James of Burnsville, Minnesota (19-0, 9 KOs), won a 10-round unanimous decision over local favorite Javier Molina, (17-2, 8 KOs). Scores (99-91, 98-92 and 97-93) were surprisingly wide as most ringside observers thought it was a much closer fight.
