YORK, PA (July 31, 2009) On Friday afternoon boxing fans and local media met with Central Pennsylvania fighters Carney Bowman, Eric Nemo and Stevie Weimer just one day ahead of “THE BATTLE OF YORK 4”. The press conference took place at the site of the event, the Sovereign Bank Baseball Stadium, home of the York Revolution. “THE BATTLE OF YORK 4”, presented by Chet Koerner’s TKO BOXING Promotions, is set for Saturday night, August 1st. Bowman, 13-0-0 (5KO’s), will face hard hitting Dominican Delvin Placencia, 15-1-0, (6KO’s) in the eight round main event.

Eric Nemo, 7-1-1 (3KO’s), faces off against Denver’s Jairo Delgado, 3-2-0 (3KO’s), in a six round featherweight bout.

ANDRES TAYLOR RETURNS TO ACTION SATURDAY NIGHT

YORK, PA (July 31, 2009) Cruiserweight contender Andres “TAYLOR MADE” Taylor returns to action Saturday night, August 1st at “THE BATTLE OF YORK 4”, an action packed evening of world class boxing presented by Chet Koerner’s TKO BOXING Promotions at the Sovereign Bank Baseball Stadium, home of the York Revolution.

Fighting out of Johnstown, Pennsylvania , Taylor , 8-1-1 (4KO’s), will square off against Lake Charles , Louisiana native Roy Ashworth, 5-4-0 (1KO) in a six round cruiserweight bout.

In his last start on June 27th, Taylor and Leo Bercier staged an excellent two-way war in Youngstown , Ohio with Taylor coming up short in the six round decision, his first loss.

Said Taylor , “The loss was a blessing in disguise, I’m much more focused now. I know exactly what mistakes I made in that fight and I won’t repeat them. I’ve trained harder and longer for this fight and can’t wait to get back in the ring.”
