Talented amateur boxer Scott Miller has signed professional terms with Impact Boxing and is scheduled, subject to satisfactory medicals, to make his debut on the undercard of Scott Lawton’s English title defence at Fenton Manor Sports Complex on 29th September..
The 25 year old Miller from the Birches Head district of Stoke served a six year amateur career under the stewardship of Keith Nugent at the Hulton Abbey club during which time he secured an impressive 21 victories from 25 bouts. Miller will now once again team up with established Impact boxer and fellow welterweight Jimmy Doherty (also formerly of the Hulton Abbey club).
Miller hopes to continue his success in the professional ring: “You can’t fail to impressed with the achievements of Scott Lawton, Gary Reid and Chris Edwards during the last twelve months and I am pleased to have the opportunity to follow in their footsteps.”
