This electrifying night of Championship Boxing will feature the return of exciting prizefighter Bobby Gunn. On a professional boxing card that features 3 Championship fights and 3 Undercard match-ups, Bobby Gunn (15-2 w/12 KO’s) faces Shannon “Sandman” Landberg (58-11 w/26 KOs) for the IBA Cruiserweight World Championship in the Main Event of this exciting and thrilling night of boxing..
This will be Gunn’s first fight back since his highly controversial IBA Title fight against Shelby Gross this past March 31 in Nashville, TN. In that fight, Gunn actually should have been credited with a first round knockout, but due to questionable time keeping and a very long count, the fight resulted in a “No Contest”. Team Gunn is ready to show the boxing world that the March 31 fiasco was simply a fluke. Numerous attempts were made for a rematch with Shelby Gross, but Gross has flat refused to climb back into the ring with Gunn. In fighting Landberg, Gunn will showcase his skills against the most experienced fighter he has ever faced during his professional career. Landberg is a former IBC (International Boxing Council), GBF (Global Boxing Federation) and NABC (North American Boxing Council) Titleholder. Landberg most recently went 10 rounds with ring legend Tommy Hearns before a controversial stoppage in the last round of that fight on February 4th of this year. With over 70 professional fights and an 8-1-1 record in his last 10 match-ups, Landberg provides a formidable challenge for the power-punching Gunn.

In chief support of the IBA Title fight will be the Inaugural LCO Casino Jr. Welterweight Championship to be contested between undefeated Mike “Primetime” Post (11-0 w/9 KO’s) and Marty “Too Sweet” Robbins (21-32 w/15 KO’s). Robbins, who has competed with champions Emmanuel Lucero, Mike Arnaoutis, David Santos, Isaac Hlatshuwayo and Edner Cherry is fresh off of his action-packed 10 round war with undefeated Jerome Pillow this past March where he lost a razor thin decision. Joe McEwen had this to say, “I have promoted both Marty and Mike in separate bouts on previous cards and they ALWAYS come ready to fight and put on and entertaining show. From a fans perspective, this fight will no doubt have you on the edge of your seat!”
Another Inaugural LCO Casino Championship will also be featured. Melinda “2 Cute” Woody (1-1) will face a debuting Krista Savage for the LCO Casino Women’s Lightweight Championship. Woody is a former Tough Woman Champion and Savage has an extensive amateur background. Savage hails from Wisconsin and is looking to display her talents for her local fans. Woody is a young up and comer with a strong athletic resume having excelled at softball, basketball and volleyball in high school.
Rounding out the card will be a 4 round Heavyweight bout as well as 2 additional fights TBA featuring local talent.
