Mexico City – January 24, 2005: WBC President Jose Sulaiman sent today the following letter to super flyweight contender Jose Navarro: Dear Jose, The WBC cast a voting and the result has been finalized regarding your rematch vs. WBC super flyweight champion Katsushige Kawashima. The WBC unanimously voted to mandate the winner of Kawashima vs. Masamori Tokuyama to fight against you for the WBC super flyweight championship..

The WBC is very proud of the great battle that you had in Japan with a great champion like Kawashima, a great fight that will always be remembered for its drama and competitiveness.

I would like to take this opportunity to send you my most cordial regards and recognize your loyalty, as I have followed your comments about your dreams of becoming a WBC champion since you were just a kid.
