World Boxing Organization (WBO), by president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, announced today the officials who will work this Saturday, May 3, in the super middleweight world title bout between the champion Arthur Abraham and the #12 ranked Nikola Sjekloca, that will take place at The Velodrom, Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin, Germany, in a Sauerland Events presentation.
For this fight, when Abraham (39-4, 28 KOs), a former middleweight world champion, will defend his WBO supermiddleweight (168 pounds) belt against Sjekloca (26-1, 8 KOs), from Montenegro, the referee will be Mark Nelson, from United States.
While, the judges for the Abraham-Sjekloca bout will be Andre Van Grootenbruel, from Belgium, Victor Panin, from Russia, and Noel Monnet, from France.
The WBO supervisor for this fight will be Istvan “Koko” Kovacs.
Abraham, an Armenian who lives in Germany, won the WBO super middleweight title for the second time on March 1, 2014, when he beat Robert Stieglitz by split decision.
