Carl Froch has taken time out of his punishing training regime to share his thoughts ahead of his highly anticipated rematch with George Groves, which is set to become a historic sporting moment.
With the fight just over two weeks away, tension is beginning to grow on both sides but confidence in the Froch camp is high. According to Carl Froch, his opponent George Groves won’t have the stamina to last 12 “championship rounds”. In this latest video, Froch talks of the “intensity, pace and experience” that will enable him to defeat his opponent in style.
Froch, who won the first encounter in controversial fashion after George Groves was deemed unfit to continue, promises to approach this rematch with less anger and more style. Froch believes his anger got the better of him in the last fight, with Groves getting under his skin, something which he claims won’t happen again.
Unfinished business seems to be the feeling for all involved with this rematch looking to settle once and for all one of boxing greatest rivalries.
