On this week’s episode of the Pugilist KOrner, we welcome back to the show the new IBF Junior Middleweight Champion “King” Carlos Molina, expert trainer and Kronk Gym leader Javan “Sugar” Hill, two division world champion and expert boxing commentator Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi, WBO Middleweight Champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin, and Hall of Fame matchmaker and promoter Don “War a Week” Chargin.
In the opening segment, the newly crowned IBF 154 pound champ discusses a possible match-up with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and his future in the packed Junior Middleweight division.
“The Pugilist Korner” is proud to welcome back Kronk Gym leader and expert trainer Javan “Sugar” Hill. The talented boxing mentor discusses his fighter, Adonis Stevenson’s, first title defense against hard punching Tavoris Cloud, which has been slated for a September 28th, broadcast on HBO.
Making his way back to the show is two division world champion, Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi. The always entertaining boxing commentator gives his thoughts on Ms. Cynthia Ross, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Danny Garcia, and many other relevant topics in the sport of boxing.
Making another Pugilist Korner appearance is WBO Middleweight Champion “Kid Chocolate” Peter Quillin. The hard working Brooklynite discusses his upcoming bout with Gabriel Rosado, as well as a possible outing with Triple G and Sergio Martinez.
Closing out the two hour program is Hall of Fame legend, Mr. Don Chargin. The sixty year boxing proponent talks about the controversial scoring system of boxing, as well as Floyd Mayweather versus the greatest Welterweights of all time.
