Star Boxing’s Bejenaru and Serrano make weight ahead of televised bouts Friday

Constantin Bejenaru, (11-0 3KO’S), Brooklyn, NY weighed in at 198.3, while opponent and fellow unbeaten New Yorker Stivens Bujaj, (16-0-1 11KO’s), NYC, NY, weighed in at 197.5, in a 10 round Cruiserweight battle for the vacant WBC International and Continental Americas titles in a bout televised live on the Showtime network from The Omega Product Event Center in Corona, CA. The bout is part of the popular ShoBox series.

This will be the second appearance on ShoBox for Bejenaru who scored an impressive 8 round decision win over heralded and undefeated Russian prospect Alex Zubov on April 15th of this year. Bejenaru dominated the fight with great speed and precision punching.

The second Star Boxing fighter to fight this Friday is Philadelphia’s Raymond Serrano, (21-3 9KO’S) weighing in a fit and ready 146.6 as he faces undefeated Oklahoma City, OK prospect Alex Saucedo, (22-0 14KO’s who tipped the scales at 145.4) in an 8 round Welterweight matchup from the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The bout will be televised live on Unimas.

Both bouts are Friday, November 4th, and both bouts will be televised live. The Bejenaru-Bujaj fight is co-promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Banner Promotions. The Stivens-Serrano fight is co-promoted by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing and Top Rank.
