SPIKE O’SULLIVAN TO FIGHT MILTON NUNEZ (28-12 25KO’s). THE HERALDED COLOMBIAN WHO ONCE FOUGHT GENNADY GOLOVKIN FOR THE MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD.

Boston – Murphys Boxing is excited to announce that Spike O’Sullivan will fight at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York City. Spike will appear in an 8 round bout on the McMayhem In Midtown boxing card on Saturday March 14th. Spike will take on Milton Nunez (28-12 25KO’s) the heralded Colombian who fought Gennady Golovkin for the WBA Middleweight Championship. Milton with 25 big KO’s to his resume has also faced the likes of current World Champion Danny Jacobs and Sergio Mora, but it is Spike who looks to be leaving his mark on the U.S. boxing crowd, 1st with his impressive 2nd round KO win in front of the raucous Murphys Boxing crowd in Boston on February 26th and now with a fight at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The entertaining Irish Middleweight is excited to not only be fighting in New York City and Madison Square Garden but to be doing so over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend and with plenty of friends in attendance, Spike looks to give them a show. “This is a dream come true, to be fighting in this iconic venue, the home of boxing. What more could any fighter wish for. Boston is my home for fighting, but I’m excited to be fighting in New York City and the famed Madison Square Garden” said O’Sullivan. “As fighters we don’t get paid overtime, so I’m coming to throw bombs and get Milton out of there. I have loads of lads coming over from Cork, Ireland for St. Patrick’s in New York City, so this is an added bonus for them.” added O’Sullivan.

Ken Casey of Murphys Boxing is also excited to bring Spike to NYC for a fight at Madison Square Garden. “It was our plan to vigorously promote Spike in Boston and New York, and what a great place for Spike to show the boxing world the great fighter he is, but Madison Square Garden,” said Casey. “St. Patrick’s Day weekend in New York City at Madison Square Garden with Spike O’Sullivan ready to go to war, does it get any better,” added Casey.

Tickets for “McMayhem In Midtown” are on sale now at MurphysBoxing.com, priced at $100, $65 and $35. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the first bout scheduled for 7:30 PM.
