On Friday night two of the Chicago area’s hottest heavyweight prospects will put their perfect records on the line when Waukegan’s Nick “The Terror” Asberry (5-0, 3 KOs) faces off with Ricardo “El Diablo” Chavez (4-0, 3 KOs).
“Chavez is undefeated and he is confident so this fight is a big risk, but in boxing you have to take risks and push yourself,” said Asberry. “I have put in the work, I have learned from previous fights and I’m ready to show everyone that I am the better boxer. I plan on being victorious.”
Promoter Bobby Hitz is expecting an exciting bout.
“‘Fans love it when the big boys go toe-to-toe and with both of these young guys entering the ring with perfect records its going to be a hell of a fight,” said Hitz. “As amateurs these guys fought four times and they both won twice.”
Tickets for “Fight Night at Horseshoe Hammond” are available at hitzboxing.com and at The Venue Box office. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the first fight is at 7:30 PM.
