This week MGM are pleased to announce another new signing, Marc “Magic” Kerr; a 24-yr old future champion from Glasgow.
Marc started boxing in 2010, with trainer Sam Kynoch. Marc made his debut, winning by KO in Round 1 in Birmingham and competed on the semi-professional circuit, starting at Light-Heavyweight and then at Super-Middleweight and Middleweight. Marc claimed Scottish and British titles with several organisations, and was the undisputed no.1 in the UK on the semi-pro circuit.
With his record of 35 wins against 2 controversial losses and 1 technical draw Marc decided to turn pro, along with his trainer. They are both ready to get started and have their sights set on winning titles. “We did a training camp at the MGM in summer 2013 and we hit it off with their team straight away.” said Kynoch “I am delighted that Marc has signed with Matthew and Danny, and cannot wait to get his career underway. This is just the start and together we can go from strength to strength, I see MGM being a major player in world boxing in the not too distant future”.
Marc said: “I cannot wait to get my pro career underway. I have followed a plan which has seen me clean up the semi-pro scene and now I am looking to make my mark as a pro. I will be boxing at Light-Middleweight and I am feeling great at that weight”.
Both Daniel and Matthew have watched Marc with great interest and think that he is a champion in the making; they think he will fit right in at MGM and are very happy to be working with him.
