TMT super middleweight contender Lanell “KO” Bellows is in the second week of camp as he prepares to face Fabiano “Pit Bull” Pena September 16 at the Chelsea Theater at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The scheduled 8 round bout is on the undercard of the Ishe Smith- Frank Galarza clash.
“I’m in my element, working hard to prepare for this fight,” Bellows (16-1-1) said. “And returning to the Cosmopolitan where I scored a victory in May- I’m definitely looking for a successful repeat performance.” In his May bout, Bellows had a dominant first round TKO win over Scott Sigmon. As for his opponent Pena, (18-5-1) Bellows had this to say: “Pena says he’s a Pit Bull, but I’ve never met a dog I was scared of or couldn’t tame. I’m every day battling in a real life Dog Pound, with nothing but the best pushing me till I succeed so- I will be the top dog at the end of the night September 16.”
