Exeter welterweight, Freddy Kiwitt, is looking forward to his first fight in Devon when he appears on EJKO Promotions’ ‘Best of Devon’ show next month.
‘Pretty Boy’ will be looking to extend his unbeaten professional record to 4-0 when he takes on seasoned slugger, Kevin McCauley, at Torquay’s Riviera International Centre on Saturday, 21st June.
Kiwitt has dispatched of Matt Seawright, Owen Raine and Dee Mitchell since turning professional in November and is confident of putting McCauley to the sword in his home county.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” he told www.uko-boxing.com. “This will be my first professional fight in Devon and I hope to get lots of support. Most people have never had the chance to watch me fight because I’ve been boxing on the road.”
“McCauley is a tough boxer. He has got more experience than me and is quiet slick. I take every opponent seriously but I’m confident I can beat him. If I get a chance, I’ll be looking to finish it early.
“I’m still learning my trade and taking each fight as it comes. I’d like to box for a title this year but my main aim is to stay undefeated and stay pretty!”
Fellow Exeter-based fighters Faheem Khan (welterweight) and Lewis Browning (lightweight) are also in action against Jamie Ingleby and Sid Razak respectively.
Plymouth Cruiserweight, Courtney Richards, tops the bill when he takes on Lee Kellett for a Bronze Masters Cruiserweight Title whilst Torquay super featherweight, Torryn Pook, is pitted against Swindon’s Joe Beeden.
Plymouth light heavyweight, Angelo ‘Concrete’ Crowe, and Plympton-based Spanish light heavyweight, Christian Hoskin-Gomez, complete the card
