Once more MGM are very excited to announce the signing of yet another promising boxer. Jamie Kavanagh who is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions will now be managed by Daniel Kinahan.
This news follows the signing of Derry Mathews and Iain Butcher last week and continues to reinforce that MGM is the place to be.
Jamie Kavanagh with a record of W17 L1 D1; is a former Irish Junior champion and World Junior silver medalist. His only loss against a tough Mexican opponent. Kavanagh has been training at MGM and is happy and excited with the move, “I have come across a lot of people in boxing, good and bad, I started with a management team that didn´t turn out to be what I wanted them to be. I´ve moved on and I believe that MGM and Gold Boy Promotions can bring me the best from both sides of the water, Europe and the US. I know these people will do good by me.”
Jamie continues, “I have had enough fights to be challenging for significant titles now and that´s what I´m looking for. The set-up at MGM is great and I´ll train from there and also with trainer Joel Diaz. I´m looking forward to things happening for me!”
MGM are very pleased that Jamie will be joining them and Daniel is looking forward to managing him, “I have known Jamie and his family for a long time;” he says “I´ve followed him closely over the years, watched him train and develop here in Spain and I´ve seen the sacrifices he has made traveling to America while spending time away from his family and girlfriend. I think he is a world class fighter and I’m am delighted to have him onboard”
