SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO- World Boxing Organization (WBO) minimum champion Moises Fuentes trained lightly today for the media in his way to the fight against former two time champion Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon this Saturday, October 6, at “The War”, to be held at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) presentation, in association with All Star Boxing, Top Rank and Promociones Zanfer to be broadcast on “Pay Per View”.
Fuentes (15-1, 7 KOs), from Mexico, came to the Caimito Gym along with his manager Marco Antonio Barrera, former world champion, his trainer Jorge Barrera, his physical trainer Scott Anthony and assistant Aron Dominguez. The tall fighter just did some exercises and shadows saying that he worked in the morning too.
“I’m relaxed and focused in the fight. My training is good and I’m going to be ready for 12 rounds. I know I’m going to face a former champion but I’m in a good shape”, Fuentes said to the media.
Fuentes will defend for the second time his 105lbs title against Calderon (35-2-1, 6 KOs) in the co headline bout of “The War”, scheduled to 12 rounds.
