MGM are once more delighted to announce a new addition to their stable and this time it is the 2012 UK U20 ABA and International Boxcup Champion, Isaac Chamberlain. Isaac will be turning pro after a very successful amateur career which saw him winning a host of South-East England and London titles.
Chamberlain from London has been boxing since he was 12; he started because he had low self esteem and was very shy, and he hasn´t looked back. He trains with his uncle Ted Bami and is totally dedicated to Boxing.
The 20-year old has decided to turn pro and has just signed with MGM. He will continue to be trained by his uncle and managed by Daniel Kinahan. “ Isaac and Ted came to MGM to visit, we talked and I was very impressed with them both, especially Isaac” says Daniel “ They seemed like really nice people and I look forward to a long and successful relationship.” And Chamberlain is confident that he has chosen the correct place to further his career, “MGM has a great feel, immediately you feel at home. They strongly believe in me and that motivates me to work harder. With all that MGM has to offer, how good you are is down to you,” explains Isaac “I think it is the best place for me in terms of maximizing my talent and potential to be world champion.”
The future looks bright for Chamberlain, he will be fighting on January 31st 2015 at the 02 arena under Matchroom Sport and he has just been hired to spar with Deontay Wilder ahead of his WBC world heavyweight title fight. “I believe with MGM behind me I can be a serious force in the cruiserweight division”. MGM are delighted to have him on board.
