Chicago, IL, Wednesday, September 25, 2013–Bobby Hitz announced today that Hitz Boxing will cap off its dynamic 2013 season with “Fight Night at the Horseshoe: The Black Wednesday Battle” on Wednesday, November 27 at 7:00 PM at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN. Hitz’ annual tradition of holding a Thanksgiving eve, also referred to as “Black Wednesday” show began in the early 90’s when he promoted his wildly popular “Ramada Rumble” series at the O’Hare Ramada Inn and its been a staple of both the Chicago boxing and night life scenes ever since. The line up and ticket information will be announced shortly.
“This has been an awesome year for Hitz Boxing and there is no better way to close out this season than with our annual ‘Black Wednesday’ show, which is an excellent way to kick-off the holiday season for both hardcore and casual fans,” said Hitz. “Chicago fans love boxing and their support demonstrates how strong this sport is. We are excited to stage our sixth show this year and look forward to continuing this momentum in 2014!”
In addition to its “Fight Night at the Horseshoe” series in Hammond which was held on February 15, April 20, June 8 and September 13, Hitz Boxing returned to Illinois on August 30, with the launch of its “Night of the Rising Stars” at the Cicero Stadium.
