Goodwin Boxing sign Graham Tirrell; Jervier gunning for titles

Goodwin Boxing are delighted to announce the signing of undefeated Middleweight Graham Tirrell (7-0) on a three year management deal.

Hitchin based Graham turned professional in November 2013 and racked up 7 straight wins with 2 stoppages with his last victory being in November 2016 against Scott Hillman.

As Graham established his gym business he took a break from the sport before linking up with the powerful Goodwin team who also look after the likes of Frank Buglioni, Dereck Chisora, and Nicola Adams.

Graham will be returning to the ring in September in London and excited about the new link up “I am so excited to be getting back in the ring. I have a great team behind me now and expect to move to title contention within 12 months.” Goodwin was delighted with the new signing “I have followed Graham’s career from day 1 and am really excited about teaming up with him and developing his career to title level. Hitchin have a champion on their hands and it will be fantastic to bring a professional boxing title back to Hitchin.”

Willesden Cruiserweight Jervier gunning for titles

At 36 years of age Cruiserweight Ossie Jervier from Willesden, London is a man on a mission.

After losing a close decision against Wadi Camacho for the Southern Area title, Ossie appeared live on Sky Sports giving leading Cruiserweight Isaac Chamberlain plenty to think about.

A change of trainer and a link up with “The Professor” Xavier Miller at IQ Gym in Neasden has revitalised Ossie and in his first fight under Miller (March 2018) 2018 he despatched Kristof Demendi in three rounds. Demendi had lost only 4 of 17 contests prior to this bout.

“I am now hunting for titles and am going to make my family proud as I show what I can really do. Age is only a number and I am fitter and fresher than ever.”
Ossie is back in the ring on 26th May when he takes on Adam Williams who recently floored undefeated Richard Rikaporhe on the Dillian Whyte v Lucas Browne at the O2. “After Williams I am gunning for titles”.

The man behind Ossie is manager Steve Goodwin “I always tell people about the Dennis Andries story. Everyone wrote him off and in his latter years produced a cinderalls story, Ossie can do the same.”
