Following their sell-out shows in January and July, Western Country Boxing and Carl’s Boxing Stable are back in Plymouth in October with their Haloween Weekend Spooktacular, ‘Fright Night’.
A host of professional Plymouth pugilists feature at the Guildhall on Saturday, 29th October. The show is sponsored by Grosvenor Casino Plymouth, who will host the weigh-in and Aftershow Party and will also have a presence on the evening!
‘Fright Night’ features terrifying tussles and plenty of things that go bump in the night. The line up is out of this world.
Plymouth welterweight, Jack ‘The Ripper’ Bellingham is back in action. The 26 year-old will be looking to record a hat-trick of professional victories after turning over late last year.
Des ‘The Destroyer’ Newton will also be looking to make it third time lucky as the Plymouth lightweight looks to build on his two professional wins to date. His last came at the Guildhall in July where his army of supporters roared him to victory.
Guernsey middleweight, Tom Duff, will make the short hop over the Channel once again. Duff returned from a two year absence to record a technical decision win over Robert Studzinski last time out. He takes on Plymouth’s Cristian Hoskin-Gomez for the British Challenge Middleweight Title.
Plymouth super featherweight, Chris Adaway, Exeter welterweight, Faheem Khan, Cornwall cruiserweight, Marcus Kelly, also feature alongside Launceston welterweight, Wes Smith, who is set to make his pro debut.
Tickets for Fight Night are £30 or £50 Ringside and are available by calling: 07958 398 355. Doors open at 6:30pm with boxing commencing at 7:30pm at Plymouth Guildhall, Armada Way, Plymouth, PL1 2AA.
The weigh-in and Aftershow Party (over 18’s only) take place at Grosvenor Casino Plymouth, Derry’s Cross, Plymouth, PL1 2SW (just a two-minute walk from the Guildhall). Grosvenor Casino Plymouth will have a presence at the Town Hall on the evening.
