Mickey Helliet and Mo Prior have joined forces to promote ‘Glory Days’ at the York Hall
The show is on Saturday, July 18 and in the top-of-the-bill fight, Elliott Matthews defends his Southern Area middleweight title against Gary Boulden in a rematch of one of the best domestic fights seen in recent years.
Matthews won the vacant title that night and makes his second defence at the York Hall on a show that’s packed with rising stars.
Darryll Williams looks to build on capturing the International Masters Bronze super-middleweight title in a six round contest and in a good-looking match, Johnny Coyle meets Mark McKray.
In May, Coyle won the vacant Southern Area light-welterweight title with a points win over Philip Bowes – and Bowes is also set to be matched at the York Hall.
The event also includes unbeatens Aarron Morgan, Tony Milch, Sam Cantwell, Asinia Byfield and Darren Murray.
All are matched at the York Hall, along with Hatfield heavyweight Tom Little.
He goes looking for a fourth straight win against Paul Butlin, the Midlands Area champion from Melton Mowbray.
Feltham lightweight Mickey O’Rourke steps up a level when he faces Michael Mooney over six rounds and fans who were at the York Hall in May will look forward to seeing Watford middleweight Myley Cash in action again.
Cash, co-managed by Prior, schooled tough-as-old boots Gary Cooper and at 22, he looks to have a good future in front of him.
Also on that show in May, Ramesh Ahmadi raced to a 100-second win on his professional debut and he’s in action again, along with Jez Smith, kid brother of super-featherweight talent Mitchell.
