Known internationally for his well earned “blood and guts” warrior reputation and celebratory back flip celebrations, world ranked contender George will face off against St. Paul, Minnesota veteran TROY LOWRY in an eight round, super middleweight clash while hot light heavyweight prospect Jimenez will look to stay undefeated against BRANDON “EL Cubanito” Gonzalez of San Diego, California in a scheduled six round tilt.
Just 29-years-old, George, 24-4-2 (21KO’s), will be looking to kick start his 2014 campaign while seeking his 25th professional victory. Long a fan favorite over his nine-year career, George has never lost in his native Chicago.
Fielding a record of 28-13-0 with seventeen knockouts, Lowry will also be making his 2014 debut.
The 26-year-old Jimenez, 13-0-0 (10KO’s), like George born and raised in Chicago, will look to stay on his already torrid pace for 2014, having already scored two knockouts. Most recently the hard-hitting Jimenez drilled England’s Jimmy Campbell to the canvas in the first round to bring a show-stopping end to the Hitz Boxing FEBRUARY 28TH event at the Horseshoe Casino.
Gonzalez enters the clash with Jimenez sporting an even record of 12-12-4 (6KO’s) and comes off hard fought battle with Derrick Webster on MARCH 14, losing a six round majority decision in the fan favorite’s hometown.
In a special attraction event at “FIGHT NIGHT”, world ranked Russian heavyweight ANDREY FEDOSOV, 24-3-0 (19KO’s), will also make his highly anticipated return to the Horseshoe Casino.
