Las Vegas, Nevada (September 12, 2013) – In one of the sport’s most anticipated bouts of the past few years, activities leading up to this weekend’s main event, “The One” are always looked forward to by boxing aficionados and your casual fight fans. Most professional boxers dream of being on the undercard of premiere events and some are appreciative of the opportunity to fight in Las Vegas during fight week prior to Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr.’s bouts.
One boxer in particular is Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale (6-0, 6 KO’s) and will be fighting for the second time this year prior to a blockbuster event. Three weeks ago, Breazeale was featured live on Showtime Extreme and shined as he stopped his toughest opponent to date with a monstrous body shot in the fourth round.
Considered the most impressive win of his young professional career, Breazeale is making noise in the heavyweight division and is looking forward to his bout tonight. “It’s always great to fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but to be part of a fight week card before one of the sports most anticipated event’s is even better. The people in attendance will definitely know who Dominic “Trouble” Breazeale is, if they don’t know already”, said Breazeale.
His veteran trainer John Bray has been very pleased with his progress and feels that Dominic is a very gifted athlete and is doing very well in the sport. Bray noted that Dominic is being moved very well by his management team and is executing the daily lessons he is learning in the gym in each of his outings.
When asked about his future in the heavyweight division, Breazeale stated the following, “the heavyweight division is wide open right now and I can’t wait for my shot. But until then, I can only continue to take it one fight at a time so I may continue to learn and grow into the next heavyweight champion of the world.”
