Cody Crowley talks Marcelo Fabian Bzowski

On Saturday, September 24, United Boxing Promotions is proud to host the return of Canadian welterweight standout Cody “The Crippler” Crowley (8-0-0, 4KOs) at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Crowley will take on Argentina’s Marcelo Fabian Bzowski (8-2-1) in an eight rounder on the undercard of the Young-Wagner Canadian super welterweight title clash. With less than a week to go before fight night, Crowley answered several questions for the press.

On training for Sept 24:

Training camp is going awesome like always. I didn’t really have to get ready or pick it up for this fight. I train every day, regardless if I have a fight coming up or not. I eat, sleep, breathe boxing, and I’m always ready to go out and perform. This fight will definitely be my strongest test yet, but I’m ready and fully confident to conquer the task at hand.

On a future Canadian title challenge:

Hopefully this fight gets me closer to fighting for the Canadian title soon at either 147 or 154!

On preparing for Marcelo Fabian Bzowski:

I don’t really know too much about him and I haven’t looked him up. I’m prepared for whatever he brings to the table September 24. I may have only eight fights, but I’ve been boxing the best fighters in the world here in Vegas on a weekly basis, including numerous world champions. I’m sharp and on point!

On fighting in Ontario and his support system:

As far as fighting back in Ontario goes, I am very pleased about that. Mississauga is still a couple hours from my hometown of Peterborough, but I have a good 200+ people making the trip up to the Hershey Centre to see me perform.
