TEMECULA, Calif. – (June 21, 2016) – Live boxing action returns to Pechanga Resort & Casino this August with an action-packed night on Friday, August 5 at 7:00p.m. CBS Sports broadcasts the event which features seven bouts and at least two fights broadcast live ono CBS Sports television. The night’s main event features what’s expected to be a hard-hitting 10-round middleweight fight between Robert Brant (20-0-0, 13 KOs) of St. Paul, Minnesota and Paul Valenzuela, Jr. (10-3-0, 6 KOs) of Santa Rosalia, Baja, MX. Brant’s record and fighting style stands as a formidable hurdles for his competitors, though Valenzuela, Jr. could present the challenge to notch a loss on Brant’s scorecard.
The eight-round lightweight co-main event lightweight bout features Mason Menard (31-1-0, 23 KOs) from Rayne, Louisiana against Diego Eligio (12-1-0, 4 KOs) from Monterrey, MX. The two veteran fighters are training hard with their individual camps, getting ready to give boxing fans an exciting show.
