Sherman Oaks, CA (March 20) – Tune in tonight to watch NBC’s (Channel 4) sports anchor and commentator Mario Solis as he interviews Olympian twin brothers from Norwalk, CA, Javier Molina (13-1, 5KOs) and the 2008 US Olympian and Oscar Molina (2-0, 1KO), the 2012 Mexican Olympian.
Earlier today, Solis visited the Molina brothers, including older sibling Carlos Molina, to learn about their childhood and gain a better understanding for the love of the sport of boxing.
The two are scheduled on the undercard of the 12-round WBC World Championship Heavyweight Elimination featuring Riverside’s Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (35-2, 30 KOs) the WBC #1 world contender versus the heavy-hitting WBC #2 world contender, Bermane “B. Ware” Stiverne (22-1-1, 20 KOs). The winner is guaranteed to fight for the WBC Heavyweight World Championship in his next bout.
The Arreola-Stiverne showdown will be the opening bout of a special presentation of HBO® World Championship Boxing at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
The exciting match ups will take place on Saturday, April 27 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.
