Miami, FL: The #1 Boxing Program on Spanish Television, “Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford” will kick off its Fall Season Friday, September 30 from the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico.
In the main event a civil war between national champions Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez of Mexico City, Mexico and Emanuel “Veneno” Dominguez of Aguascalientes, Mexico who will face each other in a bout schedule for 10 Rounds with Payasito’s National superbantamweight at stake.
Hernandez (30) is a former WBO interim Champion, current National Champion, ranked #5 WBO #5 WBC #10 WBA, has become a series favorite having fought 11 times only losing twice bringing his record to 31-11-1-16 KO’s. Dominguez (22) on the other hand is the current WBC FECOMBOX Champion, won the belt last May by defeating Herman Perez by TKO in the 11th round bringing his record to 18-5-2-12 KO’s. This will be a classic battle of Experience Vs. Youth.
The action continues October 7 from the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa, Florida with another clash of the rivalry between Puerto Rico and Mexico, WBO #4 contender and NABO Champion Orlando “El Fenomeno” Cruz (35) of San Juan, PR faces Luis “El Titan” Sanchez (24) of Cancun, Mexico. The fight is schedule for 10 rounds with Cruz, Jr. Lightweight title on the line. Also on the card local favorite undefeated 22 year old welterweight prospect “Hurricane” Sammy Valentin (7-0-5 KO’s).
The Boxeo Telemundo Ford Fall Season will follow October 14 from the Palm Bay Civic Center in Palm Bay, Florida and will close 2016 on October 21st from the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City Mexico.
