Boxeo Telemundo Ford Summer Season Kicks off July 18

Miami, FL: The successful series of Boxeo Telemundo Ford returns with its summer series starting July 18 from the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida, in the main event another classic battle between Puerto Rico and Mexico when Jonathan “Pitbull” Vidal (17-2-9 KO’s ) takes on Juan “Loquito” Kantun (21-6-3-15 KO’s) with the WBO Latin Superflyweight Title at stake schedule for 10 rounds.

The series continues July 25 from the Foro Polanco in Mexico City, a Civil War; former world title challenger David “El Duro” Carmona (16-2-4-8 KO’s) faces fellow countryman Martin “Pini” Casillas (14-3-8 KO’s) in a bout schedule for 10 rounds for the WBO Latin interim Superflyweight Title.

“We start the summer series with two very competitive superflyweight fights, the winners will meet on our fall series for the absolute WBO Latin belt and a possible world title opportunity” said Tuto Zabala, Jr, President of All Star Boxing, Inc.

On August 1 the series lands in A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida and closes August 8 at the Foro Polanco in Mexico City, both main events will be announced shortly.

Telemundo Network will televise the main events live at 11:35 PM in the United States and by Claro Sports in Mexico and all of Latin America.
