Crispulo Javier Andino (16-5-1, 7 KOs) is convinced he will knock Patrick Nielsen (18-0, 8 KOs) down and out in their WBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title clash on June 15. The pair is set to collide at the Nordic Fight Night in Aarhus. With less than two weeks to go until the biggest fight of his career, the 24-year-old Argentinian has a clear message for the young Dane. “My punches are like the bite of a Cobra,” he said. “If I catch him, Nielsen will get hurt. Let´s see how many punches he can take.”
Andino has been called “Cobra” ever since his first day as an amateur. “It´s because of the way my body is built,” he said. “I am a tall southpaw. I like to use my range and punch from the outside. But once I get inside, I consider myself a puncher.”
And that, according to Andino, means trouble for Nielsen.
“I have watched Nielsen´s fight against Gaston Vega. He moved, he is quick, but he also goes down. When I hit him, the referee will count him out. I will take the belt to Argentina.”
Tickets for the Nordic Fight Night at the NRGi Arena are available at billetnet.dk. Also in action will be local fighters such Dennis Ceylan, Reda Zam Zam and Torben Keller as well as rising stars like Patrick Nielsen´s brother Micki Nielsen and Swedish sensation Erik Skoglund, amongst others.
