Errol Spence Jr. & Badou Jack Confirmed For Fourth Annual Box Fan Expo

Current IBF Welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. has confirmed that that he will appear, have a booth and hold a Meet & Greet with his fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 4th Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday September 15, 2018 from 10am to 5pm, during Mexican Independence Day weekend. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the highly anticipated rematch between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez vs Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin, that will take place later that evening at the T-Mobile Arena.

Spence Jr. will make his 1st appearance at this years’ Expo and will be signing gloves, photos, personal items and also have merchandise for sale for fans to enjoy. As an amateur Spence Jr. won three consecutive United States national championships and represented the U.S. at the 2012 Olympics, where he reached the quarter-finals; all in the welterweight division. As a professional, Spence Jr. has held the IBF welterweight title since 2017. He traveled to Sheffield, England, in May 2017, where he dethroned Brook before 27,000 Brits. Spence Jr. scored 10th-and final-round knockdowns of Brook, who suffered a broken orbital bone in his severely swollen left eye. In Brook, Spence Jr. defeated a man who dethroned Porter and became the first American to earn a title from an English champion on foreign soil since 2008 when Tim Bradley upset Junior Witter in Nottingham for a 140-pound title.


As of Today, Spence Jr. is ranked as the world’s 8th best active boxer, pound for pound, by The Ring magazine; he is also ranked as the world’s best active welterweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and second by The Ring and BoxRec.

The Swedish professional boxer, who is promoted by Mayweather Promotions, held the WBC Super Middleweight title from 2015 to 2017. On April 24, 2015 he defeated Anthony Dirrell to win the WBC championship belt and defended it successfully against George Groves at the MGM Grand Las Vegas on September 12, 2015 during Mexican Independence weekend. He competed in a 2017 Fight of the Year candidate against James Degale that ended in a majority draw at Barclays Center in Brooklyn last January. He made his light heavyweight debut by defeating WBA World Champion Nathan Cleverly in August 2017 and recently came off from an incredible performance that resulted in a draw when he faced WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson this past May in Toronto, Canada.
