Four Scandinavian's to fight in Magdeburg; Hasan Al in trouble with his promoter?

By Teddy Stenmark

24.04 - Former European amateur champion (1996) Hasan Al seems to be close to being fired by his promoter Team Palle. Mogens Palle told news bureau Ritzau that he is tired off Al's behaviour: "Once you talk to him, he agrees to everything but when you turn your back to him he does something else and balloons up in weight. All of a sudden he weighs 90 kilos, if he doesn't show some initiative soon we just might drop him" said Palle. Hasan Al looks at it in a different way though, "Ever since I turned pro there haven't been anything but trouble, I have been 100% focused ever since I switched to the Palle's. He also claims that it's false that he has weighed 90 kilos; according to himself he tips the scale at around 75 kilos which is about what he normally weighs in between fights when not in training. Hasan Al has been cleared medically after an injury that required surgery, an operation that was paid for by Mogens Palle but the promoter isn't satisfied with the brawling fighter's efforts to resume training following the surgery. "He can't get any fights if he doesn't train properly "What happens remains to bee seen but the Hasan Al-Mogens Palle relationship is a strained one!
