Upcoming Scandinavian fights in March

22.02 - Team Palle recently announced that they will get their first card off the ground on Friday the 7th of March in Pandrup, Denmark. IBC and IBF Intercontinental junior middleweight champion Michael Rask (29-2-0) and his undefeated (31-0) stable mate Thomas Damgaard will headline the bill.

Michael Rask squares off with Tanzanian, Rachid Matumla in a scheduled twelve-rounder with his two titles on the line. The 34-year old (turns 35 in May) African who is a two-time Olympian sports a beautiful record of 25-3-1 and is known for his heavy punching power. Expect a tough night for the brawling Dane!

The card will harbour all in all six fights, 20-year old junior welter Mehdi Abedi (4-1-0), Junior middle Reda Zam-Zam (6-0), feather Jadgar Abdulla (4-0) and cruiserweight Johnny Jensen (9-0).

Danish boxing trainer, Brian Mathiasen reports that middleweight Youssef El-Awad (2-0) together with Swedish welterweight Isam Kahlil (10-0-2) will box on the under card of the Dariusz Michalczewski-Derick Harmon card held in Hamburg on the 29th of March.

Former European welterweight champion Christian Bladt who recently switched from Team Vester to Modern Sports & Events will get work on the Corrie Sanders-Wladimir Klitschko show in Hanover, Germany on the 8th of March. Joining him on that card fellow Scandinavian (Sweden), Samuel Kebede (18-0) in a junior lightweight fight. Former IBF World title challenger, Allan Vester will also get some action in March as he defends his IBF intercontinental belt on a date to be announced soon.
