Desert Diamond Casino and Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Bring Friday Night Fights to Southern Arizona
Tucson to Showcase World-Class Events for Live National Broadcast on ESPN2
30-07 - The Desert Diamond Casino, Arizonas leading boxing venue, is partnering with legendary 6-time World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing to host three upcoming world-class nationally televised boxing events. Sugar Ray Leonard, SRL Boxing and the Desert Diamond Casino management unveil the new partnership at a press conference at the Desert Diamond Casino.
All three events will be broadcast live to a national audience on ESPN2s Friday Night Fights series. The fights are scheduled at the Desert Diamond Casino on November 7, 2003, February 6, 2004 and April 2, 2004 and will meet Leonards goal to feature the highest level of competition.
