Interview With Diego Corrales l Interview With Ishe Smith

DIEGO CORRALES (35-1, 29 KOs): "I am excited and ready to go to work. I have never seen St. Kitts so I do not know what to expect, but I figure he will try to come out strong to the body, at least for a few rounds. It will not matter what he does. I want to put on a show for the fans and prove to them that I am back. I am willing to fight anybody at 135 or even 130. If (Floyd) Mayweather is such a bad man, like he says, he would give me a rematch. I'll fight him at any weight he wants, even 154.''

FELIX "THE CAT" ST. KITTS (12-3-2, 7 KOs): "I am here to do the best I can do on such short notice. This is a great opportunity for me. I know I have to get inside. I win this, and I can make even more money for the rematch. That last fight I had -- against Julio Diaz -- was not me. I only had a couple day's notice. I guarantee you will see a lot more from me against Corrales."

SAM GARR (32-6, 28 KOs): "I am grateful for the opportunity to redeem myself on national television for the world to see. I was totally dehydrated when I lost that last fight and if they are basing their decision to fight me off that one, they are in for a really long night. I know Smith is young and has good handspeed with decent power, but I really believe they made a mistake by fighting me."

ISHE SMITH (10-0, 6 KOs): "I feel blessed to be boxing on "ShoBox" on Showtime. I have a great team, and we work terrific together. My trainer, Danny Smith, my wife, LaToya, everybody. I would not be where I am today without them. I really expect Garr to try and box and take me into the late rounds. If he decides to show his manhood and fight me, however, it could be the shortest fight in the history of Showtime fights."
