Gary Shaw Productions Returns to The Edgewater March 7

06.03 - GARY SHAW PRODUCTIONS, LLC and the EDGEWATER HOTEL AND CASINO in Laughlin, NV, return with another installment of their monthly boxing series, "Friday Nights at the Fights!" Friday, March 7. The first bell is scheduled for 7 P.M.

The series, which began last September, takes place the first Friday of every month, returns with a seven-bout card featuring, in the Main Event, jr. welterweight prospect, Artur Petrosyan, 9-4-1, from Las Vegas, NV, rumbles with Francisco Corrales, 9-1, from Mexico, in an eight-round bout. Corrales, who is riding a two year, eight-bout winning streak, will have his hands full against Petrosyan who has never been stopped.

The co-main event will feature undefeated jr. welterweight prospect Alex Velardez, 7-0, from San Bernadino, CA, and a fan-favorite of the Edgewater boxing series, against tough-as-nails Bobby Bearbow, 4-4, from Tulsa, OK.

The five-bout undercard will feature undefeated Las Vegas prospects heavyweight Bagrat Ohanyan and bantamweight Juan Carlos Santiago favorites in separate four-round bouts, plus a special attraction four-round women' s flyweight bout between Stephanie Dobbs and Gina Able.

"We have been packing the place for every card," said Gary Shaw. "Fight fans know they have a home for a great show every month at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino. We are committed to giving fight fans what they really want -- total action from top to bottom. It is a great entertainment value."

Tickets to the fights are priced from $20 and are on sale now at the Edgewater's Main Cage or at its sister property in Laughlin, the Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino, at the One Club Booth. The Edgewater and the Colorado Belle are properties of the Mandalay Resort Group.
