17.04 - Less than a week before he was set to leave for Johannesburg, South Africa for a tune-up fight on April 25, Danish light welterweight contender Allan Vester got a call from his handlers that the fight was cancelled.
But due to impressive work behind the scenes, the former world and European title challenger will still get work on that date, as he is now pencilled in to fight an opponent to be announced in Magdeburg, Germany.
If succesfull, Vester will defend his IBF Intercontinental belt three weeks later in the Dutch town of Den Haag.
Two other Danes joins Vester in Magdeburg, as stablemates Lasse Johansen (5-0) and Anita Christensen (11-0) will also fight.
Former WBO middleweight world champion; Arman Krajnc (26-2) from Sweden, is also on the card. He will make his super middleweight debut against overmatched Portuguese Eliseo Norgueira (10-31-3)
