German Yearbook Of Professional Boxing: A New Aera Starts With 2003 Issue!

17.02 - Fight Production today announced that the 2003 edition of their traditional GERMAN YEARBOOK OF PROFESSIONAL BOXING will, for the first time, be published on CD only.

Since 1998, the company headed by German manager and matchmaker Olaf Schroeder has uninteruptedly published the annual, which quickly became the main source for German boxing statistics and enjoys worldwide acclaim from the leading recordkeepers.

The book does not only include every yearly statistic about German boxing worth knowing, it has also made a point from the start to shed light on the history of the sport in Germany.

To put more emphasize on “Forgotten Stars”, the GERMAN YEARBOOK last year hired boxing historian Harald Bennert to pen an extensive series of portraits, starting with former two-weight German champion Paul Samson-Körner, whose full record was featured for the first time in print.

This year, the subject will be Kurt Prenzel, who twice reigned as German middleweight champion and got his career started in the 1910s in the British war camp of Knockaloe on the Isle of Man.

Within the next two week, Schroeder plans to publish all order details regarding the 2003 issue.
