Jeremy Williams Headlines CKP Card Jan 30 in Portland

14.01 - World-ranked heavyweight Jeremy Williams, who's promoted by Cedric Kushner Promotions, is scheduled for the 10-round main event Jan. 30 at The Rose Garden in Portland, Ore. Williams, who may have the most unique nickname in boxing, "Half-Man, Half-Amazing," has a record of 39-4 with 35 knockouts.

The 30-year-old Williams, from North Hills, Calif., has won four straight, all on Cedric Kushner Promotions' "Everlast Heavyweight Explosion" cards. On Sept. 29 in Lemoore, Calif., Williams stopped Gilbert Martinez in the ninth round; on June 7 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas he took a 10-round decision over Ron Guerrero; on April 21 in Laughlin, Nev., he halted David Bostice in the first; and on March 17 in Oroville, Calif., he stopped Louis Monaco in the first.

The opponent for Williams, who's ranked No. 15 by the World Boxing Council, in the 10-round main event Jan. 30 in Portland, Ore., will be determined.
