(San Diego) -In one of the preliminary fights scheduled for the latest edition of Bobby D. Presents’ “San Diego Fights: Dangerous Divas”, a clash between two female first timers will be on display. Coming in from the islands of Hawaii, amateur standout Haley Pasion takes on Jillian Lybarger of Goodyear, Arizona, in four round super bantamweight contest.
Lybarger is part of the first MMA fighter twin sister team along with her sister Jocelyn and train out of the MMA LAB under Robert Drysdale. A veteran of the cage for seven years, Lybarger will be in her boxing pro debut. Lybarger is 2-0 as a MMA fighter.
Pasion began fighting at the age of 16 representing the Waiapahu Boxing Club in Honolulu. With only five fights under her belt, she traveled to Colorado to compete in the 2011 Nationals and took the gold in the open category. She continued to compete as an amateur at all the major tournaments, from the Nationals to PAL as well as competing internationally in China and Sweden. She finished her amateur career with a record of 19-6.
