Broadway Boxing “The Last Dance” Official Weights

New York, NY (2/11/14) – Earlier today, all of the fighters for the DiBella Entetainment Broadway Boxing card weighed-in ahead of tomorrow nights fights at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. Tomorrow night’s card will be the premiere installment of the 2014 Broadway Boxing series and the final boxing show ever to take place at the famed and historic Roseland Ballroom.

Below is the complete bout sheet for tomorrow night’s show. The card, entitled “The Last Dance”, has had such a positive response with New York boxing’s adoring fan base that DBE has had to open up more seats at the last minute to accommodate the flood of calls and requests coming in for tickets. General admission standing room only tickets, priced at $35, will now be available at the door tomorrow evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. ET, with the first bout scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

Robert Guerrero confirmed For Inaugural Box Fan Expo

Las Vegas (FEBRUARY 11, 2014)–Four-Division and Six-Time world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero has committed to attend the inaugural Box Fan Expo this September at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Guerrero who became the third fighter in boxing history to win a world title at featherweight and welterweight, joined the likes of legends Henry Armstrong and future Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao. Guerrero also joined the rare breed of fighters, who have jumped up two weight classes to win world championships, which include Roberto Duran, Roy Jones Jr., and Sugar Shane Mosley.

Robinson Castellanos Vs. Rene Alvarado on Saturday, February 15

LOS ANGELES (Feb. 11) – Owner of boxing’s most deceiving record, Mexico City’s Robinson “Robin Hood” Castellanos will look for his 12th straight win on Saturday, February 15 when he defends his WBC Silver Featherweight Championship against Nicaragua’s Rene Alvarado in the main event of a Televisa and FOX Deportes-televised card at Centro Internacional de Convenciones in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Announces 2014 Inductees

The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame has announced a stellar cast of 18 honorees, 13 living, to its second annual Class Of Inductees. The selections were made by a panel of 33 voters from Nevada-based boxing media, past inductees and NVBHOF Board members. The 18 inductees come from 10 categories, two of which were new: Adoptive Residents (for boxers who moved to and resided in Nevada after their careers), and Pioneer Class (for those who prominently contributed to Nevada Boxing prior to 1960).
