By Justin Jones & Paul “Paparazzi” Jones — Washington, DC — Official weigh-ins for the “History At The Capitol: Bernard Hopkins vs. Beibut Shumenov” tripleheader (SHOWTIME® Championship Boxing; 9:00 PM ET/PT) were held at the Marriott Renaissance hotel (Washington, DC) this afternoon in front of an energetic crowd.

The 49-year-old Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins (54-6-2, 2 NC, 32 KOs) and his adversary Beibut Shumenov (14-1, 9 KOs) both weighed in below the Light Heavyweight limit for their unification bout (IBF/WBA/IBA). Hopkins tipped the scales at 172.5 lbs, while Shumenov weighed in at 174.5 lbs.

Co-main event headliners Shawn “Showtime” Porter (23-0-1, 14 KOs) and Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi (33-5, 7 KOs) made the Welterweight limit without incidence. Porter weighed in at 146.8 lbs, while Malignaggi weighed 146.2 lbs.

Light Heavyweights: IBF World Champion Bernard Hopkins (172.5 lbs.) vs. WBA/IBA Champion Beibut Shumenov (174.5 lbs.)

Welterweights: IBF World Champion Shawn Porter (146.8 lbs.) vs. NABF Welterweight Champion Paulie Malignaggi (146.2 lbs.)

Middleweights: WBO World Champion Peter Kid Chocolate Quillin (159.8 lbs.) vs. Lukas Konecny (158.2 lbs.)

Welterweights:Sadam “World Kid” Ali (18-0, 11 KOs) (146.2 lbs.) vs. Michael Clark (44-9-1, 18 KOs)(144 lbs.) in a 10 round bout.

Junior Welterweights:Zachary “Zungry” Ochoa (6-0, 3 KOs)(139.5 lbs.) vs. Hector Marengo (6-7-4, 4 KOs)(140.2 lbs.) in a four/six round contest.

Light Heavyweights:“Sir” Marcus Browne (9-0, 7 KOs) (174 lbs.) vs. Otis Griffin (24-15-2, 10 KOs) (176 lbs.) in an eight round bout.
