Diego Pacheco just showed the world what he’s made of, bulldozing through Marcelo Coceres in a wild ninth-round knockout during tonight’s DAZN headline clash in Inglewood, Calif.

Pacheco (20-0, 17 KO), the young gun, kicked things off smooth, showing some slick moves and keeping cool. But Coceres, the crafty old dog, started landing some wicked left hooks in the fourth, really bringing the heat in the fifth.

Coceres (32-6-1, 18 KO) kept hammering away, trying to drag Pacheco into a brawl. The 22-year-old had to shake things up, switching gears and bringing the storm in round eight.

Round eight was all Pacheco, chomping down and unleashing hell with his power shots. He made the 32-year-old Argentine sit up and take notice. Come round nine, Pacheco lands this monster uppercut, flooring Coceres.

Coceres didn’t see it coming. He gets the count, but decides he’s had enough of Pacheco’s thunder, taking the full ten-count like he’s on a beach holiday, with just a few ticks left in the round.

“I was gunning for a knockout,” Pacheco said. “Sure, he took some solid hits, but I knew I had him rattled. So, I cranked it up a notch and sent him packing.”

When asked about the fight, Pacheco’s all about the learning curve. “This was like a crash course with a guy who’s seen world title action. But hey, none of them managed to wipe the floor with him like I did.”

Looking ahead, Pacheco’s got his eyes on the prize. “I’m 22 and not the loudest guy in the room, but everyone’s buzzing about me, Eddie Hearn included, and all the boxing heads reckon I’m primed for the big leagues. Bring on 2024, I’m ready for anyone.”

That’s Pacheco for you – young, fierce, and ready to take on the world.”
