Hot Ghanaian prospect, Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe has declared readiness to face undefeated WBA Super Bantamweight champion, Guillermo Rigondeaux without delay.
Highly rated Dogboe has churned out a rapidly rising professional career in just over a year, winning all 13 fights so far and believes he can step up to the plate to stop the even more highly rated Rigondeaux.
The 21 year old WBO Africa Featherweight champion has called out the Cuban and is willing to come down in weight to fight the also undefeated Rigondeaux following news that his former sparring partner, Carl Frampton had declined a chance to face the Cuban slugger.
“Isaac is ready, he can punch and has a tough chin. We have sparred with Santa Cruz and it was always give and take hard sessions,” Dogboe’s father and trainer, Paul told Bukomboxingnews.com exclusively.
“We can beat Rigondeaux, Isaac can knock him out, this kid is very good technically and can take a punch,” Dogboe Snr explained full of confidence.
And he has a reason to back it.
“Isaac was Carl Frampton’s sparring partner for a year when he was 18, 19 years old and he always distinguished himself, we are ready for Rigondeaux,” Paul Dogboe emphasised.
