Edmund Gerber Ready For Dereck Chisora

European Heavyweight title challenger Edmund Gerber say he’ll be British star Dereck Chisora’s therapist when they clash at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday 21st September. The big-hitting German has sparked up a war of words with Chisora bringing up the Londoner’s well publicised incidents with the Klitschko brothers in the past and has promised to cure him in the ring with his fists.

Chisora upset Gerber, who’s knocked out 14 out of 24 opponents early, when he said he was going to smash him up to earn a second world title shot, either a rematch against WBC Champion Vitali or a showdown with WBA Super/IBF/WBO king Wladimir.

“Ever since he slapped Vitali Klitschko and spit water on his brother Wladimir before he fought for the world championship, everybody knew that he has some serious problems with his head,” Said Gerber.

“I heard that he had to go to anger management classes but with his latest comments regarding our fight it seems that he still has the attitude of an anti-social man.”

“Maybe I can resocialise him when we fight. I will be glad to serve as his therapist for free – being his fist therapist!”

Chisora v Gerber features on a packed multi-title show alongside Billy Joe Saunders v John Ryder for the British and Commonwealth Middleweight title; Frankie Gavin v David Barnes for the British and Commonwealth Welterweight Championship, Paul Butler v Miguel Gonzalez for the Vacant WBO Intercontinental Super-Flyweight Championship; Liam Walsh v Joe Murray for the Commonwealth and Vacant IBF Intercontinental Super-Featherweight title; Mitchell Smith v Scott Moises for the Vacant Southern Area title.
