Kermit Cintron to now face Marquis Taylor on Tuesday, February 13

Two-time world welterweight champion, Kermit Cintron will now face Marquis Taylor in a ten-round bout on Tuesday, February 13th at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Already announced were two eight-round co-main events featuring Frank De Alba (22-2-2, 9 KOs) taking on Carlos Padilla (16-6-1, 10 KOs) as well as Mykal Fox (15-0, 4 Kos) battling Ricardo Garcia (14-1, 9 KO’s) in a super lightweight bout.

In a fight that exceeded it’s high expectations, Tyrone Brunson came back from two 4th round knockdowns to come back in the very next round to send former two-time world champion Kermit Cintron to the canvas three times, and win the Pennsylvania State Junior Middleweight title via 5th round stoppage at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia.

In a 12-round heavyweight war that lived up to the hype, Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 KOs) was able to take a majority decision (114-114, 117-111, 115-113) over Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce from Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

In round two, Kauffman buckled Mansour with a hard right on the inside. The two fighters started round four with bad intentions as they each landed hard shots on the inside. Kauffman switched back and forth between orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to befuddle the southpaw Mansour.

Cintron fights Grayton on 3/17

Former champion Kermit Cintron (39-5-2, 30 KOs) will battle once-beaten David Grayton (15-1, 11 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight bout on Friday, March 17 as part of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce.

Televised coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT from Santander Arena in Reading, PA. and is headlined by a showdown between exciting heavyweight contenders Travis “My Time” Kauffman and Amir “Hardcore” Mansour.

Kermit Cintron faces Rosembeg Gomez on Dec.10

This Saturday night, former two-time world welterweight champion Kermit Cintron will take on Rosembeg Gomez in an eight-round bout for the WBF title.

The bout will serve as the co-feature of a card promoted by GH3 Promotions, KIng’s Promotions and will streamed live on www.ringtv.com beginning at 9 PM ET.

In the 10-round main event, welterweight David Peralta (26-2-1, 14 KO’s) takes on Berlin Abreu (13-1, 11 KO’s) for the WBC Latino title.
