LOS ANGELES (NOV. 11, 2014) – Local rising stars Joseph Diaz Jr., Julian Ramirez, Diego De La Hoya and Roy Tapia, as well as seven-foot tall international sensation Taishan, held a media workout at Ponce De Leon Boxing Club in Montebello, Calif. in advance of their bouts at Fantasy Spring Resort Casino this Thursday night on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes.
Three undefeated Mexican warriors are headed to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California on the Thursday, November 13 edition of Golden Boy Live! when Joseph Diaz Jr., Julian Ramirez and Diego De La Hoya square off against Roberto Castaneda, Pedro Melo and Ali Gonzalez,respectively who are looking to add losses to the records of the undefeated trio of boxing’s most promising rising stars. While seven-foot Chinese sensation Taishan will open up the televised portion of the card against Michael Lane on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes.
They are four of the most unique personalities in boxing today, but what the headliners on the Thursday, Nov. 13 edition of FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes’ Golden Boy Live! series all share is respect throughout the sport as rising stars with world championship potential. One of the most exciting rising stars in boxing today, 2012 U.S. Olympian Joseph “Jo Jo” Diaz Jr., will return to the ring on Monday, Sept. 29, to face Mexico’s Raul “Bule” Hidalgo (21-11, 16 KOs) in a 10-round co-main event featherweight bout on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes’ Golden Boy Live! at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
