Jordan knocked Reed down with a left hook to the liver in the 2nd round and then knocked Reed down three more times en route to the 3rd round stoppage. Damon Reed, who entered the fight at 47-17 with 32 KOs, had faced four current or former world champions during his career. In 2011, Reed lost a 10 round decision to James Toney and in his bout prior to that one had lost via 6 round stoppage to Hasim Rahman.
